GATE 2024 – Structure and Marking Scheme

The GATE exam pattern consists of three sections:

GATE 2024 – Syllabus – GA – General Aptitude

The GA section is common to all GATE papers. The GA section carries 15 marks. The GA section assesses the candidate’s ability to reason,¬†think critically,¬†and solve problems. It is important to prepare well for the GA section as it can significantly impact the overall GATE score.

  • Quantitative Aptitude:

GATE 2024 – Syllabus – Architecture and Planning

The GATE Architecture and Planning (AR) syllabus is designed to assess the candidate’s understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of architecture and planning. The syllabus is divided into two parts: Part A (Common) and Part B (Architecture or Planning).

Part A (Common)

Part A is common to both Architecture and Planning candidates and covers the following topics:
